That might true to certain degree, mainly because I believe things will never come to that level where US has to decide between Kurds and Turks. Us wants both to have good relations and cooperate and work together to fight real terrorists and promote democracy and free market in the region.Turkey must understand the complicated Iraqi political equation of post Saddam era and the key role Kurds are playing in keeping it on the right track. It is in everyones interets to keep Iraqi Kurdistan, safe, secure, and prosperous.Any disturbance of this balance will have dire cosequences on Iraq and the region. To understand this better, just imagine for a second Iraq without Kurdish component.Who will dominate Iraq and where will it go. Does America really will allow that after investing so heavily in lives and capital in Iraq? The answer to that is a big NO.
